A high school crush

I feel like a high school girl with a crush. Badette set me up with her boyfriend's friend I will now name Guy D. And I super like his eyes. And he's a pretty nice guy too.

And so now, we've progressed to being textmates. :)

I guess this is what you people are telling me ... about keeping options open. Specially now that Guy A has told me that I am free to see anyone I like. That was a bit of an ouch factor for me.

Well, I like Guy D. So there. A little competition won't hurt.

Four years

I used to anticipate the 28th. I looked forward to special times. Special moments.

But tomorrow will be different.

For it will be just another ordinary day.

I am not impressed anymore

Guy A, you're losing my interest...

And with your 'statements' lately...

I'm getting a bit bored over here.

Mixed emotions

Talking to a friend about the events that transpired last Saturday has gotten me more confused than ever.

If he's even unsure of THAT thing, what more on his feelings for me...that is what my friend is thinking. I was told not to focus on what Guy A was feeling but instead focus on how I am feeling.

Her opinion struck me. I dunno why it just made sense.

So what am I feeling? I feel numb. And embarrassed. And sad too.
Ang swerte mo Guy A ha, you're taking up a lot of space on my blog lately.

And the plot thickens

In my drunken craziness after my boss' party, I went online at 3AM just to chat with Guy A. And with me a lil bit loosened up, I managed to persuade him to hang out with me Saturday. He told me when we had dinner last Thursday that we might not see each other over the weekend so I was feeling a bit victorious.

Saturday afternoon rolls along and he suddenly texts me he might not be able to make it. So I think, what else is new? I was so tempted to reply just 'ok' but i threw in a sad emoticon just for the heck of it. Well, well, he suddenly calls me up and tells me he was joking and would be dropping by by 4.

Coincidentally, my sister had some friends over and they decided to go to the mall. So when Guy A arrives we were alone in the apartment. Our painting session soon moves to a steamy make out session hahaha. But we stop because he tells me we might be moving a bit too fast. At first I was like 'wha? what's happening' and then I slowly come back to earth. And I realize he was right. And I'm glad we did stop before things got more complicated than it already is.

My realization for today

Oh-kay. To recap, the past three days are indeed quite a challenge to me. Sunday was heavy with all that I learned about my mom and her problems in the US. Monday was the same. And today was draining.

Someone disappoints. Someone turns bratty on me. And Randy asks me how I am doing. What the hell was that? Adding more insult to injury. As Manila told me, "You have no right to ask me how I feel."

And now I feel that sometimes friends, despite the time or distance, are the only people you can really rely on. Not family. Not even boyfriends or boyfriends-to-be.

The rain ruined my Saturday

Me: Anong gusto mo tignan?

Guy A: Ikaw.

Me: Ikaw?

Guy A: Ikaw. *grin*

Guy A was supposed to come over today but because of the strong downpour, we just hung out at the mall, talked over coffee for around three hours. He asked me what else I wanted to do. Well, what is there to do inside the mall?

Then before the rains get any stronger he suggested we go home early. Eh. I still wanted to spend more time with him. But did I speak up? No. I just let him hold and kiss my hand again.

Oh he mentioned na it's good that I'm opening up to him now. So was I too quiet all this time? It's hard to put my guard down with our "situation".

So where is this all going? Still the same old question.

And I so wanted to kiss him. Pfft.

And then he calls again...

And to continue with my saga with Guy A, he calls.

And for the 4th time he confirms our Sunday movie.

And finally I see him again.

And then it's back to regular programming.

Cancelled on again

Oh I sincerely wanted him to win. However, what I don't like about him qualifying into the next round is that I get to be bumped off some other indefinite day. And I feel it's even my fault for having work on Sunday.

Sorry for my sarcastic reply. I just couldn't express nicely how really disappointed I am.

If he doesn't get in touch again, well then that just goes to show that he doesn't really like me that much.

Ps. After a few hours, he calls me up and says we're pushing through with our movie date tomorrow. goodness...

PPs. He called me this morning to cancel again. Something came up once more regarding the tournament. Why o why am I not surprised?

If you're not taking the 6 p.m. slot, I'm giving it to someone else

So I'm not gonna write in cryptic today. And why is that? Because so many things have been happening to me in the past few days. Yes, the angsty Patty is back with a vengeance.

Let me start off by saying once again, that I am not the most patient person in the world. I am also admittedly not the most organized person in the world but I like my schedule to be pretty accurate.

Alright, with that off my chest . . . I am going to be honest in saying yes I am back in the dating scene. And for a couple of days now, I can say that I have been pretty unhappy about my dating life. There are indeed a couple of guys lined up at my door. Not to boast but mind you I have been pretty picky about selecting who I am gonna go out with. There are guys who would text but not push through. There are guys who would really ask me out but fall short of expectations. With my adventures in dating for the past few months, I can fairly say that the book "He's Not That Into You" has now become obsolete, for guys have completely changed their dating strategies.

Okay take for example Guy A. He passed my first requirement and we quickly progressed to being constant dates. I was thrilled because we had a lot of things in common and seem to be thinking on the same wavelength. However, as we began to proceed to our nth date, things have become pretty unclear. He's acting like we are a couple when we are out on dates but he's treating me like a buddy when we are not together. Also looks like he's put me at the end of his priority list, asking me out lately on last minute dates. And not following through. You think, why shouldn't I just ask him where our dating status is leading to. But at the end of the day, one must realize that he hasn't made a move to take our relationship to the next level because of his inability to commit to anything related to me. So why should I be that demanding lil bitch who isn't even his girlfriend right? Don't get me wrong, we both have been clear that we are looking for serious relationships from the very start. I like this guy a lot. Well, I guess he doesn't like me that much. I'm not yet that important enough to make a dent in his social calendar.

Then there's Guy B. Guy B is someone from the past, an old flame should I say. He's been a topic on this blog before. Well silly old me looked him up in facebook and tada! We're instant textmates and seems like the 'spark' is still there. Can you feel another however coming up? However, he already has a girlfriend of two years. But that doesn't stop him from asking me out again. Tempting really. He's definitely fun to be with and quite yummy as I described him to a friend. But since my break-up, I have vowed not to go out with guys who are already committed because hey it also happened to me and I wouldn't want to be the girl on the other end. I pity his girlfriend really. And the other girls whose boyfriends have also hit on me.

Now, last but not the least is Guy C. He's four years muy junior and a little bit (okay, a lot) on the immature side. He does things that peeve me like using text speak when chatting (wer r u) and call me on the phone unexpectedly. What's weird about Guy C is that he's already asked me to be his girl eventhough we haven't met each other face to face. Yup, you read it right. I have told him endless times that I have to meet him first and go out with him to know my answer to his 'mahiwagang' tanong. It was a condition of mine that I would never ever break for anyone. I think he has finally getting the hint (after endless chat sessions where he would just ask me if I would be his girl and me replying no each time). He's thinking of asking me out but on the condition I would tell him if I'm okay with him or not as soon as the date ends. Oh and he also told me that it's okay for me to date other guys even if I do agree to be his girl. But he'd totally be faithful to me. Oh-kay.

The thing in common with these three guys and the others who have 'asked me out' is that they are very vague with the specific day and time they would want to go out with me. I remember Badette's rule of not going out with a guy who has asked her past Wednesday because it meant that she's just an after thought for the weekend. I am not that strict with my asking out rules but I am getting pretty peeved with all these vague dates. With Guy C however I was blunt in saying that I want him to give me specific details of our date. Don't just ask me what time I go to or get off work because my line of work is also unpredictable. I can say that I go to work from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. but that can change because of meetings, presscons and such. However, I told Guy C that if he did tell me something definite, I will be able to manage my schedule, juggle some stuff and make exceptions for him. And he understood. And he has yet to give me a sure day of our date. Hah!

Long story short, I'm tired of guys taking me forgranted. I even told Leah that sometimes I want to rebel and go back to the old me. Maybe I'd be having some fun instead of being this prissy girl getting walked on like a doormat by these guys.

Well one thing is for sure. I won't be twiddling my thumbs at home waiting for their call.

So what now?

Feels like another dead end.
So what is a girl to do?
Time to reassess...everything.
I am disappointed, believe me.

*I want my money back...
I want my money back...
Just enjoy the show...*

Why am I writing in cryptic still?
Probably because everything I'm feeling
Is still all jumbled up inside.

Saturday afternoon

I liked how he hugged me close and gave me a lingering kiss on top of my head.

He makes me feel special.

Even for awhile.

Darn it

I wanna run...smash into you...

Beyonce on repeat in my ears.

I promised I'm going to be just 'chill' about it.

I'm cool.

So darn tired

I feel so sleepy.
Probably because I've been staying up real late at night for the past three days.
And I'm still in the office until now.
Pouring everything in work and chatting with friends.

Because I don't want to think about YOU.
But then again since I've written this entry, so I am thinking of YOU.

I know.
It's crazy.
Because I don't want to hold back.
And it's getting harder to do so.

Rushing leads to incompleteness

That's what my horoscope today told me.
And I completely understand what it is saying.
It means that I have to be patient.
And trust Him.

On the other side of the news,
I admit I was bothered with the picture of Miffy Randy posted on his page.
The words 'I miss my bunny' burned.
Flash back of "movie scenes" of what could happen.
But in reality I know it would not happen.
With him it would never, ever happen.
I think my heart knows better this time.

The healing has begun

I dunno how I managed to keep my head above water.
But I did.
Strong hands lifted me up.
Friends pushed me in the right direction.
Someone has placed a band aid on the gaping hole in my heart.
And somehow I'm smiling again.

The truth revealed

i could not believe that he did that to me.

it's now over.

after he promised to always be with me

i have never felt so alone in my life.

I cried again last night

It is now officially two weeks since he last spoke to me. Four weeks since I last saw him. I thought I had stopped crying about it yesterday but the pain just became overwhelming again last night.

I keep on asking myself how can a person love you one day and not love you the next?

I am praying fervently everyday to God, not for us to reconcille but for him just to talk to me. Even if he tells me to let go at least I'd know it's time to move forward.

Sunday, April 12, 2009

The world has moved forward without me

I am still hurting from his refusal to talk to me.
I cry each time I think about it.
I have cried myself to sleep for the past week.
I wake up each morning to realize that he's not there and I cry again.
And here I am trying to write what I'm really feeling
But it seems I can't put the feelings into words.
I thought I would never feel this kind of pain again.
I was wrong.
For now it is worse.
I feel like dying.

Eggplant toes and the Webbys

I went nail polish shopping last Saturday and were there a lot to choose from! I first contemplated on going to old reliable Face Shop to buy that hot pink color I've been wanting to get for the longest time. But Pi told me she found this secret place (hahaha ask me where) that sells cheap polish but has more color choices. So here I am wearing flip flops on a Monday, sporting egg plant colored toes (and finger nails).

Oh and before I forget, ABS-CBN.com won Best Entertainment Site at the 11th Philippine Web Awards. A reward for no-day off weekends and breaking news updates. :))

Hope Team.com survives another year! (hanep sa segue di ba?)

My first fancy cupcakes

I remember receiving these box of goodies during my 25th birthday from Liezel and the other Tec mods. The cupcakes looked too wonderful to eat. But eventually my friends and family and I ate the stuff and it was yummy. Until now I still think of these fancy cupcakes during my birthday. So probably these cakes also inspired me to make some of my own.

Ok, so this is my first venture into fancy cupcakes. I went all out for my friend Thess' birthday. Actually she was my little experiment hehe. I was scared of doing frosting at first and when I saw Wilton ready made icings in tubes (P119), I bought one (pink) to see if I could decorate my cupcakes using icing.

However, It was obvious that one tube would not be enough to frost almost 2 dozen cupcakes so I really had to try making my own frosting. I didn't like my frosting to taste too vanilla, so I added tons (spoons heheh) of cocoa powder to the mix and somehow it came out okay.

The Wilton icing also had an okay taste, not too sweet, not too overwhelming. Will try another frosting recipe next time too.

I hope Thess liked her birthday cupcakes.

Taste testers, get ready!

Finally, I bought my first oven! And to start testing my baking skills, I baked my first batch of brownies. Although it came from a box (Hershey's Ultimate chocolate) it came out just right. So yung mga volunteer taste testers diyan, humanda na kayo! ;)

Christmas Countdown

Went Christmas shopping last Sunday and Monday with Pi and ended up paying for most of our gifts to relatives. Boohoo. Oh well but at least I've accomplished part of my list.
On the other hand I saw this bag at VNC, which is really drool worthy.
The bad part was that it costs P2700! I was sooo tempted to take out my card...took a lot of self-control hahaha...

Sana may magregalo sa akin... hint, hint.

Horoscope for today

"Situations are too settled and too predictable, and the staleness of it all is unbearable."
Nooninoo...ano kaya ang ibig sabihin nito??? Hahahaha...

On other news...It's hard when people you are close to have problems, especially when you see them, live with or talk to them everyday and you're too helpless to do anything. Even if I use my super special powers to help (meron ba? harhar), I think it's their own battle to fight in the end.

Pero nakaka-zap yung negative energy nila ha. :(

Woke up on the wrong side of the bed

Still nursing remnants of the virus that struck me over the weekend. Didn't get enough sleep last night, resulting to this big annoyed feeling I have right now.

I was so annoyed at hunting for a shirt, which I later found out was in the clothes hamper.

I was annoyed at the MRT for not having a working air conditioner.

I was annoyed at the woman standing beside me for having two cellphones which she both constantly texted on while we were standing inside the train. The units were more posh than mine. ha!

I was annoyed at the tricycle driver for taking his kid along and making the child ride in front of him without thinking of the kid's safety. It was very irresponsible of him to do so.

I looked at the mirror and was annoyed with my hair. I should get a haircut seriously.

I was already annoyed with this someone's annoying habit and it became super annoying seeing him doing it again over something important.

The only thing I enjoyed this morning was Jovan's shirt. Wonder why...

Anyone up for a grumpy contest?

Baking...

I'm pondering whether to buy that oven that I saw at the SM Appliance center the other day. I so wanna try baking, but I'm afraid it's gonna make me fatter. *pffft*

What are your plans?

Now that my sister is leaving in a few months, leaving me technically alone in the house we considered our family's home, seems like everyone's asking "What are your plans?"

All of my aunts, my mom, my grandmother...they are all asking me what I plan to do. Everyone is now interested in me and offering their advice on what I should do with my life. Well, to tell you frankly I'm quite lost, I still don't know the answer to this question eventhough I'm already 30 years of age. I know everyone wants the best for me, but the rebel in me is shouting for them not to meddle.

Although I am not earning much, I like my job. Eventhough he is not earning much, I love my boyfriend. And eventhough I'm gonna be alone, I'm excited in a way of my full independence. The biggest problem, I'm analyzing, is still financial security. Is my fear of the past going to haunt my future?

The favorite daughter, who was once thought to become the very successful one, suddenly turned into someone very plain and blended in the background.

So what are my plans? I really just don't know what to say.

Giant Strawberry!

Been wanting to buys some for ages, but can't because these berries are quite costly. But Pia and I finally gave in to the urge and shelled out 400++ to get a taste. Perfect with sugar and cream. :))

I just love my job...sometimes :)

When news of Wu Chun and Calvin Chen's visit to the Philippines spread, I was excited because of course as website people, our team would get to cover it again. And since Pink was a big fan of Wu Chun, she obviously got the assignment with me. I'm not that "well versed" now with the Asian entertainment scene and all I know of the two boys were their dramas. I was not even aware of their group Fahrenheit's songs.

So when the press were called to join the Taiwanese stars on stage, Pink was ecstatic. And of course I got caught up in it. They were sooo nice (unlike some other boy band management we know hahahaha).

I thought Pink and I were lucky enough to have that photo op at the presscon last Saturday (although we shared the moment with the PEP guys). But after our one on one interview with them today, we had another "moment" with them. And what's funny is I felt flustered during our photo session. I could feel Calvin's rib pressed against my arm wahahahahaha... It's soo funny, I felt the fangirlishness returning. :)

Hmm...maybe I should start brushing up on my Fahrenheit knowledge :)
ps. I wore my Kitty shirt for the first time for luck. Hahahaha...

My digital perm adventure

We passed by Tony and Jackey the other day. I told Manila that I wanted for the longest time to try getting a haircut there and she had the same idea as mine. We agreed to check out the prices and low and behold, they had a promo! So instead of just getting a haircut, I went all out and got a digital perm. Hopefully it lasts as long as Jinny, the Korean hairstylist, said.

Acme thoughts

Long time ago, I wanted a piano to fall down from thin air on this creature I knew from way back then. Little did I know, she had a distant relative up here. So I wished my hardest that a piano would fall once again. A grand one.

Then I realized that there's another creature that I want to pummel. Maybe with an electric organ.

Lousy day.

Another attempt at Hello Kitty Food

Noticed that some of the stuff I bought from Lyn were about to expire so I decided to cook it for my test subjects name Randy and Pia. First I tried the Hello Kitty Microwaveable Chocolate Cake. Since the instructions were in Japanese, I had to guess approximately what the recipe was. Got milk, mixed the stuff then placed it in the microwave...after a minute, I could smell it burning! Gah! I took it out and it was as hard as a rock (but still very cute). My willing victim for the day(Randy) still ate it though. Para daw cookie instead of being a cake.

I made the Hello Kitty Pudding/Flan the next day. Made another mistake by assuming it's like leche flan and placed the sauce into the molds first (after na pala dapat) so my Kitties ended up looking sunog hahahaha... Pia didn't like the taste much but again my willing victim, Randy ate it all up.

I have still one more box of each to perfect things mwahahahah...

A happy day

Randy and I went out the other night to watch Iron Man's first day at the cinemas. He's gotten spoiled watching movies at the Shang so since the 7:15 pm showing was already full we had no choice but to get tickets for the 10pm run. We even ran into Jinky and her boyfriend, who I met for the first time. Wanted to chat with Jinx since we haven't seen each other for a long time but I didn't want to impose a double date so I just said hi and hello.

We then counted the minutes at Wham Burger (where he was irritated to death by the fellas at the other table who spoke in cono english quite loudly). We also walked around the shops at the 5th floor then finally settled for a java chip frap at Starbucks to pass the time.

Iron Man time came and I was really impressed with all the robotics (and with Robert Downey jr. for some reason). One thing bothered me though, and it has nothing to do with the movie. There were kids ages 5-7 watching the movie that involved war, sex and violence. I was wondering why the MTRCB gave it a ratedPG rating when it wasn't a simple super hero movie. Can a 5-year-old understand the concept of arms dealing, betrayal and the reason behind Tony Stark's change of mind to do good? Ayyy...di ko maubos maisip kung ano na ang mangyayari sa kids nowadays...

Anyway, the movie was good and I'm definitely gonna watch the sequel (Bitin kasi hehehe)

I edit

Since I've been doing marathon editing for the past months, I can't seem to turn off this machine in my brain. I mean I'm even editing articles in my sleep (napanaginipan ko pati yung mga headlines namin and I could cleary hear the clickety-clack of my keyboard)...

anyway, even commercials sa TV ngayon I see copy to edit.

For example:

"After waiting for two years, the wait is finally over."

It's an advertisement for a party for the gimikero crowd. Gah. Whoever approved their copy ... ah ayoko na magsalita...

Di rin naman perfect grammar ko. Thanks to Cherry for the OCness in editing lately. :)

PBB season nanaman

This is probably the closest I'll get to a body of water this summer. With the new PBB season set to start in a few days, I passed up a free trip to Boracay...Waaaah. *sniff*

Free, as in accomodation, food and party. sheesh.

Kuya really knows how to ruin the summer. Consuelo na yung inside silip sa house. Ang layo sa Boracay di ba... :))

Weirdo

Went home late last night and missed the MRT so I had to ride a bus. On the verge of having a migrane because of editing a lot of articles (marami pang nakapila huhuhu), I was distracted by a flashing light coming from the left side of the bus. I then realized it was coming from a digital camera and this girl was posing as if taking photos for her friendster account. What's more shocking is that she didn't do it once but a gazillion of times! And she was sitting beside another passenger (a young man) who was also looking at her strangely.

I admit I was a camwhore once in my life, but never did I pose in a moving public vehicle, alone and with a stranger beside me. And I only used my cellphone to take pics in the mall, and discreetly pa! The girl did her poses til her stop...di ko alam kung matatawa ba ko o ano...

Been Sick

I went home early last Monday, feeling down and out. That feeling became a full blown stomach flu that made me stuck at home for 2 days. Even had to go to the hospital to have things checked out (it was that bad).

Well, had to muster my strength today and go back to work because I had an inkling that my office inbox's flooded, red (was right). My pages were all missing me (had no updates). They felt abandoned (hehehe). Gah!

And I can't even eat yummy stuff (fried and dairy products) til my stomach clears up. Sniff.

I hate getting sick.

Sehe Bokmanee Bateuseyo!

Had to bust out the school girl outfit again at the Lunar New Year celebration for my Korean class.

Had fun being silly again with Uchi and the gang this time. We even had a song and dance number on stage, something I haven't done in age! There's a video of the performance actually but I think Uchi wouldn't dare post it on You Tube. Unless Bambie really tries to.... hahaha...

More pics here!

Lunch Out

After a quick lunch at Italianni's (thanks to Cherry), we went over to Kozui's, a Japanese-themed cafe. The place was super cozy and cute, I couldn't resist taking pictures. I had a strawberry animitsu while Manila and Cherry had double taro animitsu.
The lousy light of my Nokia 6630 camera compared to Cherry's Sony Ericsson made me wanna consider buying a new handy phone harharhar (as if Patty). More pics in my multiply.

We should do this more often :)

Our lesson for today...

Since I'm still warming up to write my Star Studio assignment for Cherrie Pie, I'm gonna teach you guys some words I learned in my Korean class today. I'll be posting the romanized version since my PC has no capacity to post in hangul. :)

SEASON - kye-jol
SPRING - pom
SUMMER - yo-rum
FALL - ka-ul
WINTER - kyo-ul
NEW YEAR - so-lal
CHRISTMAS - kurisumasu or songtangjol
GIFT - son-mul

I'll try to post more Korean vocabulary again next time (meaning when I get masipag again) :) I'm so behind my class...even 13 year old Issa is better than me.
Back to serious writing now... toodles!

2008 na!

How time flies, even when you're not having much fun... just kidding. :)

I dunno what to make out of 2007 really. It's been OK. Not fabulous. More of so-so. I felt like I just went with the flow. Though there are highlights -- my regularization, trip to Singapore with Glody, saying good-bye to Sandy, Lyn's package from Japan, our 2nd year anniversary.

New Year's resolutions? 1.) Diet 2.) Come to work on time 3.) Save
Sana lahat yan magawa ko. (Clocked in at 9:34AM btw hehehe)

Hopefully things will get better this 2008.
Happy New Year friends!

My eyes are getting hey-vi (finally, an update!)

I've been up pretty late yesterday and had coffee at starbucks before going home. Imagine me wide awake still at 2am and my alarm set for 7am. I even fought with Pia over rights to use the bathroom first for I was going to be late for my Korean class at the rate she was moving. So by the time I reach my class in Taguig, my eyes were getting pretty heavy (sorry songsengnim!).

Then Uchi tells me that we're going to the Korean Bazaar at the Korean Church near her place. My eyes tell me I have to go ask her for a spot to take a quick nap before our scheduled departure with Marianne (our teacher) at 2pm. BUT Uchi popped in a CD of Hana Kimi the Japanese version and I couldn't help but watch it with her while the rest of her sisters and Leah slept! Daya niyo guys hehehe... anyway, when we finally got ourselves to the bazaar, Leah and I instantly gravitated towards booths selling kimchi. Hehehe. We also bought chapchae, kimbap, the spicy rice cakes and rice flour and veggie cake (dont know what it's called so guys help me with that), in other words nag-pig out kami. We also watched their production numbers which were hilarious but highly entertaining. Nakakahiya lang, my eyes were really going on overtime (naluluha na ako so I had to close them for a while) and Uchi finally decided we go home.

In the cab on the way to the office (sila lang ang 'home' bound ako hindi) I forced myself not to sleep, sayang din ang 'gab' time namin ni Leah kasi hehehe. When I got to the office, Flow and I bought dinner at the newly opened Loop downstairs before it closed. Then I finally bee-lined for the couch and plopped down to get some shut eye. However, before I even got 'somewhere', I already heard PBB's opening theme calling me. *sigh*

So here I am, bleary and red eyed, typing away on my blog while simulataneously writing an article for the site. Oh and I'm smelling my kimchi beside me too. Yun yata yung gumigising sa akin...

You Know You Love Me...

I know, I know I'm juvenille. Eversince Teddy posted the Gossip Girl TV series trailer on his multiply, I became curious of what the books were all about. I have this rule you see of reading the original story of a series or movie before watching it on screen. I've done it with the Bone Collector, Harry Potter and LOTR -- well the first two books anyways. Bone Collector BTW had a lousy movie adaptation while LOTR stayed true to the books. Anyway, so I searched high and low at all the bookstores in Megamall the first book in the GG series and lucky me it was out of stock. But I did find it in National Megamall after some digging around and bought it at P299. Funny was the following day, my sis Pia saw a huge stack of books outside National Shangri-la. And lo and behold books 1&2 were on sale at P149 only! Imagine my inis hahaha...I bought the second book na rin.

Then just yesterday, my Tita Muriel asked us to go with her to David's Salon at Starmall to have a haircut. On the way there, we passed by this book sale and we started rummaging at the P99 bin. Well, well guess what...they had books 1-8 of the GG series there! Argh! I ended up buying books 3-8 for only P600! It was really a steal. I've rarely bought books in the last 4 years cause book collecting got sooo expensive. I only invested in the Travelling Pants series and the last HP books since I couldn't wait for mom to send our copies from the US. Since I've discovered a book mine at Starmall, I can't wait to get back to reading again :)

Drool

In the midst of a busy day in the office and my ton of Korean class assignments, I just had to stop and drool over this:
It approximately costs P72, +++ so I'm just gonna drool some more... Ok, a puddle's forming on my cubicle floor. Gotta go mop it up.

Medicated Strips

Yes. I'm indulging on them at the moment. My shoulder feels really painful, I've been enduring the pain since last night. I finally could not stand it (cause of the cold temp of the office) and bought myself a box of salonpas.

Now I'm stinking up the office with my "amoy matanda" smell pretty good. *lol*

Shameless Plugging Part 401

Buy the September issue of Star Studio Magazine with Angel Locsin and the Barretto sisters on the cover. I did the Sandara Park (again) article in The Biz section of the mag. :)

I thank you *bow*
